I'm not a fan of the style, but the layout is very similar to my Aunt's apartment years ago. The first level staging leaves a lot to be desired, but it looks like they were trying to make the space look larger than it is by not including a typical sofa or furniture. Tile kitchen would have to go. Backyard is the best part of the whole thing.

Seems decent for either a single person or retired couple. Not well designed for a family.

HOA dues of $355 a month? To me, thats the biggest negative

It would be too small for me. Also I lived for years in a house with the neighbor's narrow driveway separating us from the neighbor and had problems with the neighbor idling in the driveway, getting exhaust and cigarette smoke in the windows, leaving early for work and slamming car doors, etc. I'd rather live in a trailer park.

Positives are no shared walls, condition, a one car garage, and a cute little backyard.

Negatives are the floor plan, at least in my opinion. The structure is very narrow, and two stories tall, with each floor being around 600 square feet. If you take the 3D tour in the pictures, it can give you a sense of how it feels inside. Also, with no rooms on the main floor and little storage, you’ll be going up and down those stairs. A lot.

I’ve viewed it, and despite it checking off my boxes, just don’t like the floor plan. Would you find this layout unappealing as well? The upstairs is slightly larger because the stairwell doesn’t cut into the space.

Condos aren't for me and the house is too small for me, but I think the floor plan is quite good for the size of it. The building is cute with excellent curb appeal

The backyard is a really nice benefit. The condo looks like it is in good condition.

I'm tired of gray walls, but paint is an easy fix if you want a different color.

What do the HOA fees cover? Maybe they are high, maybe they aren't.

I don't know why you want us to tell you whether the condo is a good place or not. You are the one who will live there so your opinion is the only one that matters.

I have no idea about the price since it isn't in my market. I'm going to assume that nothing in that area is a great bargain and you will have to pay market price if you want to buy..

In my 30s and single, I lived in a similar sized townhouse. It was fine. Today, the stairs would be a no-go, but that’s what happens when you get old.

On this particular unit, I would paint the walls something different, get rid of that God-awful countertop and backsplash and replace that 6” deep builder grade kitchen sink, which is a pet peeve of mine. I would also investigate if the laundry area could be expanded to accommodate a full size, side by side set.

I love the back yard.

I like it. I mean what more do you need in your living room than a decent sized sectional and a tv?

Kitchen is fine but I'd replace the tile. Upstairs is nice, great backyard.

You're the one who has to like it. If you don't like the floorplan, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about it. You're the one writing the check OP.

I second the remarks about some features being dated.

I could not live with that kitchen. DH's 1980s kitchen had those same tiles: white with dark grout. Blech.

I think it's adorable from the outside, especially with the recessed garages. I'm not fond of the living room layout but as long as you have cable for a TV above the fireplace, you could find some small-scale furniture to fit. The rest of it seems fine and I love the yard!

While the backyard is very attractive, you would have to have a green thumb to properly care for all the plants. Either that, or hire a gardener.

Aren't tile countertops considered to be dated?

That said, I think this house would work just fine for one person. Anymore than that, it would be too cramped.
