thanks painter. I don't mean to sound negative, but I've seen and heard all it all, so I'm not getting my hopes up. People making 3 visits, some couldn't get financing, some come back who looked months ago....you get the idea.
Painter - Thanks for the postive affirmation! Hope the weather clears up for you real soon, so you can get back to selling.
Judy - tooo adorable! Is that your dog? Does it always drink it's own body weight in soda (and from a straw?) Thanks for the good luck wishes, and wishing you the same.
Brookdale - Sounds like that family would be a good fit in your house. You must be exhausted - 100 showings, yeesh.
Stoy and Lacey - I can certainly understand both taking a break when the contract runs out, and relisting, or trying to sell FSBO.
Hammy - Great buying prospect...they stayed a long time, and then did the drive by...sound very interested. Hope you get an offer.
Mawoods - Good luck and hope your market area picks up soon. Enjoy the wine.
Dogmom - Must be nice to have minimal bills coming in How do you like living in your new place? Are you getting settled in?
Anitajas - What's going on with your showings? Any feedback?
Hope all other sellers and others enjoy the rest of this long weekend. Everything crossed, selling pixie dust, and mojo, and good karma to all. Pray that St. Joe is working it!
Oh Painter wish it was so but we noriced they went to another house down the street, 27K more but a beautiful backyard. We'll see.
Hugs to you and all.
Why would someone pay $27,000 more for a back yard. I wouldn't. Are your home and the home down the street the same or almost the same? I am sure they will come to the same conclusion if it comes to your home or your neighbors.
Hey Lacey You know for the 27k difference they could put in one hell of a yard!!!! I added 9 acres to mine for 25k extra, now that is a hugh yard, lol....
Thanks Barb so much. I know things will pick up it just gets so stressful. We had an emergency to tend to today out of town and I didn't get to clean my house they way I like to everyday incase there is a showing. As we are traveling up to the dalles my cell phone rings for a showing. I did tell the realtor we had to leave for an emergency and he said it was not a problem. The house wasn't a mess but there were a few things out of place but all the beds were made and no dirty underwear on the bathroom floor like some horror stories I have heard from realtors. So who knows we will see. They didn't leave a card, but the last realtor that showed our home didn't either and said he does that when he plans to show it again. So we will see...I will make sure the house is good and tidy before bed tonight and before church in the morning. Well I am pooped headed off to bed had one very busy hectic day today.
Gosh, you all sound like things are happening for you! When I read about the 2nd lookers, the time they take, it just brings it all back to me...the stress, the wondering, the tears and of course the laughs (grass sniffers). I wonder if they know that's their nickname, lol!
Good luck, things are happening soon peeps!
PS I miss seeing CrazyMa on here, but she will be proud of us for keeping it going..
tambre - No I am afraid that adorable dog isn't ours. We do plan on getting a mini Doberman or a Boxer ( hubby can't decide which he wants) after we move (if ever at this rate). We decided it would be better to wait till after the move than stress a dog out.
