Judy-definitely decorate!! I was talking about this subject a while back!! Make it simple but elegant! Like Texas said, it does make it feel warm and cozy!!
I was just telling my hub yesterday that it's time to get the Xmas decorations out! I am putting our 9 foot tree up I got from Macy's 2 winters ago after the "after Xmas" sale!!

Mornin' campers..it's 4 am in the beautiful pacific northwest...36 outside but no rain..dogs go out, do their dooty, no lolligagging out there in this weather.

I went to bed about 11:30 so it ticks me off to get 3 hours sleep. I was having body aches and pain then the doxie wanted to go out. Got up, let him out, then the litte lab mix wants out..finally the dalmatian decides it's her turn..meanwhile I am working on a cup of coffee, but feel myself fading...

Hammy, glad your vacation went well...

Later, campers!

Welcome to the camp WANKEL17 ! I wouldn't think you need an attorney at closing. They are done at either a title company or attorneys office, just ask questions if you are not understanding anything before signing.

dogmom, Whats up with these dogs not wanting to go out at the same time? My boys are doing me the same way, except they do not wake me up.

NJsocks, I sold my trees last Nov at a yard sale, didn't put one up last yr and now I am looking for one and my gosh they are expensive! May not have one this yr at the rate things are going.

Lacey, How are you doing this morning? So sad about your young friend, hugs going out.

Morning Painter-thank you but the "celebration of life" was awesome and gave me a different perspective. It's the "party" he would have wanted.

Have you heard anything????? I know we won't til Mon as they don't work Sundays.

Morning Lacey, No haven't heard a word, the buyers agent isn't hitting on much though. We are all very frustrated with her to say the least. Hopefully you will get positive news on Monday, we'll keep sending up prayers.

My family tradition, on my mom's side anyway, was to celebrate life instead of death. There was always a large buffet that everyone brought food to, drink, music, friends and family. Not much different than a wedding reception when you think about. It was always easier on the family. For those of faith it was a new begininning.
