I get "cute" a lot at 40! I don't mind it, at all.
You know what, you're right. Cute isn't absolutely terrible. I guess at my age, I'd expect sexy or something along those lines. I like sexy. I still feel weird when guys say I'm beautiful. I don't see myself that way.

Well, cute can definitely be sexy! You got it, so work it, girl!
My ex-boyfriend loved it. I was cute, IMO, but he told me I was "beautiful" and "Yummy" (his word! He had me on a bit of a pedestal, though, so... eh... Why did he have to live so far away, in Chile??) So when I'd sex it up, he was always VERY pleasantly surprised.
I have a feeling this will be one of those posts I regret in the morning. I'm in a Benadryl haze...

I bet the cute part has to do with your personality, so it's far from terrible. BTW, you ARE beautiful too (and your son is very handsome.)
And yes I've seen physically attractive women who are just royal witches. That right there is such a turn off that they're not hot to me anymore.
It's funny, I was thinking something similar when I was reading the Male Hottie thread. Sometimes when I read certain forum member's posts, I know that no matter what they actually look like, they've dropped several points on my hottie scale.
