I've dated a guy same height as me (5'8") and have dated one or two a lil shorter but my preference is with heels (me) he still has to be taller. I just love a man who towers over me...

Yes I would. I'm female and 5'9. I never was attracted to tall men at all. I actually prefer men my height, or slightly taller.

I would have absolutely no issue with dating a man shorter than me. I'm not talking Munchkin types or Danny DeVito (midgets, essentially), but short men are attractive to me.

It amazes me to see all the women here who would never consider dating a short man. Why? So they are handsome, treat you like a princess, listen to you, are faithful, steady and hard-working, but if they're 5'6, it's a deal breaker? Beyond shallow.

Well, women are going to eventually have to as they are beginning to get taller than guys on average.

I had a woman who was 6'8" getting flirty with me once, so who knows lol. Some are cool with it, and some aren't.

LOL, I'd hardly call having a personal preference "shallow". That would be like saying you don't date smokers, don't date taller, don't date a guy who's balding, etc.. so ALL of those people are shallow too? Yeah, ok LOL
Everyone has a preference... that's all it is...

I don't think they are. Women are getting taller on average, yes, but so are men.

Do you have any idea how many men have told me they would have dated me if I were 6" shorter?? Both sexes have preferences and though I have dated men who are shorter than me, it seems like they're the ones who have problems with it... Not me.

I'm 6' and the shortest I have dated was 5' 7". My mother hated it, lol. We were engaged, but it never happened. So yes, I would date a shorter guy, but not much shorter than me. Most of my exes were 5'9"/10".

Now I would prefer a taller man, (6'3" or 6'4" is ideal) but it isn't a hard and fast rule.

A short guy wouldn't get my attention immediately, he wouldn't be the first guy I notice when i walk into a room. That being said, if he has a great personality, we have that connection, the fact that he's short isn't going to be a factor at all
