It's not wise to condemn yourself... Goods tend to come back on the market!

If I could work off that pent up sexual energy at Saks Fifth Ave with his help, I'm game!

Also, I'm used to people being shorter than I am, so a lot of them look about the same size to me.
My feelings exactly. I've gotten that, "You're too tall for me/It's intimidating" line. Onto the next one then!

As I heard one matchmaker say, "A short man needs a tall wallet to stand on." If you are under 5'8" you have no chance. You can have the greatest and most positive personality and it will do no good since a woman wont give you the time of day to find out you have a great personality.
Well then he'd take away quite a few women from those tall guys once he starts throwing his wallet around! Practice your best Take That! face.

Just last night I saw a young (early 20s) couple where the woman was taller than the man. She was wearing heels too, she was pretty much towering over him. It made her look sexy to me. They both seemed secure and confident with each other and were enjoying each others company.

It's not the most common thing but not extremely rare either, shorter man/taller woman couples certainly exist in this world.

Definitely yes. I am 1/2 inch over 6 feet, and when I was young it was very important to me that I have someone who was taller, so I married a good-looking, 6'4" alcoholic selfish jerk. I'd take a decent shorter man of good character over that anytime now.

I've noticed that the younger generation doesn't seem so hung up on the man-must-be-taller schtick anymore. I see a fair number of taller girls with shorter guys these days, and good for them for not adopting our old stupid self-imposed restrictions.

I now realize, I never should have responded to this poll.

I thought it said "Women" would you..., not "Tall women."

Also, I didn't realize the poll wasn't anonymous.

So, I would like to qualify my answer.

I generally prefer guys to be taller than myself, so I responded "no." When it became known to me, that the poll is actually public, I let the OP know the reason for my "no" response . . . For me to date someone shorter than myself he would have to be a certified little person.

Signed, Shorty
