While we think of the "majority" as being into slim lookers there is actually quite a large number of people who like them large and well endowed with body fat. So it is easy to say "All men like beautiful women" if you ignore the fact that "beautiful" means something different to each man.

Since it is so mainstream, why is it that there are no "All BBW" strip clubs? I have heard they will host that sort of thing as a fetish-type night, but there are no all BBW clubs. If so many men like overweight women, why isn't someone making real money at this? Maybe I have come up with a side business for you.

Because it would be hard to put a Big Mac or a Whopper into a BBW's g-string.

I see plenty of strippers who probably eat too many Big Macs. And no, I'm not talking 'normal sized'. I'm talking a noticeable paunch (that isn't a baby), cellulite, big thighs...women who look like this:

I am not aware of any strip clubs in the US or EU which cater for many "All something nights". Then again my knowlege of strip clubs is limited. For example however there is a large following in the US of Asian Porn too. There is a lot of guys who like Asian women. Do many strip clubs have "All Asians" night? I am not so sure.

So the answer to your question is likely that the marketing strategy and dynamic operated on by strip clubs is much different to that of the porn magazine industry. More likely your strip clubs try to cater for as many tastes as possible and I would be unsuprised to find some of them employing a wide variety of women including Asians and "BBWs" as you put it.

I remember a comical story from my brother - who is married to a tall and very slim blonde - where a new Nigerian working in his company once asked him if his wife was sick or dying. What is considred "beautiful" in his country is much different to ours and they are more attracted to the larger lady than is stereotypical in the States or parts of the EU.

I've had both ends of the spectrum, I dated a guy who would start crying... and I mean weeping and sobbing... at the drop of a hat. I remember a couple of times we were watching the TV show "Cold Case" and he burst into tears. I am known to be a very mushy and understanding woman, but even that was too much for me, I was turned off.

On the other hand, I've never seen my husband cry, and I think that's weird as well. I was hoping that he'd cry when I walked down the aisle, but no such luck.

I think an occasional cry from a man is healthy, but it should be for special circumstances and few and far between.

Old thread, but general subject so I'll bite...

I think it depends. If anyone has seen the Brendan Fraser/Elizabeth Hurley movie, "Bedazzled" he had an iteration of his character where he was a weepy "super sensitive" guy who couldn't stop crying about a sunset and the girl ended up running off with a couple of bad boys in that scene. But that movie was all about extremes. I don't think normal women want emotionally tone-deaf jerk a-hole bully types, any more than a normal person is going to be a droopy-lipped, poetry spouting, sunset-crying spineless wimp. People do not tend to be such caricatures, nor to seek to mate with them.

I am actually most repelled by uncontrolled displays of temper. A man who can control his anger comes off as strong, like some sort of a Kung-Fu Master of emotions. That's the one I see guys just letting it push them around and get them into trouble most often. I don't really know very many men who have any kind of an excessive crying problem. Don't think I've ever met one. And the man I am with now, he cries over movies a lot. But I find it deeply endearing. I adore him for sharing his emotional responses with me, and for being moved by these things. He has a beautiful soul, and he isn't afraid to let me glimpse it.

I dunno. Maybe it's maturity. I'm not in my 20's. Tough guy swagger does nothing for me.

Wrong....sensitivity in a guy is much appreciated by some of us.

Not weepy, sobbing, but to show deep emotion you are likely a really STRONG man.

Strong men who can show tenderness, by the way, is absolutely amazing.

emotional honesty is attractive to me as a female. emotional dishonesty (manipulative displays of emotion), no. doesn't matter what gender it is.

I didn't read this thread but I just had to comment at what a ridiculous concept this is.

Women don't hate men who cry. That's INSANE.

Aside from not wanting them to be in pain, I love it when men cry. I think it's unbelievably sexy and beautiful. I hate that they are hurting, but I love that they feel comfortable expressing emotion in front of me. When a guy I care about cries, I go into pure love mode. I will do anything to comfort him, take care of him, and help him through whatever is upsetting him.

I've dated a few guys who didn't cry or express emotion at all, and I found it really creepy. Being open with emotion is something I'll be seeking in a future partner.

Old thread, and this appears to be a side bar/rabbit trail part of the discussion but if I were into strip clubs and they had an all BBW joint near me I know where I’d be spending my $$$!
