If women say "it's just as easy to fall in love with a rich man as it is with a poor man," then why not say "it's just as easy to fall in love with a man who does NOT have an incurable, transmittable and potentially lethal disease as with one who doesn't."
I agree. Unless you caught it from a hospital setting or were born with it, or some other non sexual way besides sharing dirty needles, contracting an STD shows poor judgement at the least.

I've known many people who have contracted STDs because of cheating spouses/boyfriends/girlfriends.
In fact, that's how my aunt found out my uncle had cheated on her. She was with him for 20+ years and contracted an STD... he then confessed that hey had been cheating on her for years.

Ok, so finish the story...*making popcorn*...did she stay in the marriage, or leave him?
I would also argue marrying/being with someone that cheats on you is poor judgement in picking a mate. There's a lot of that going around.
That doesn't make the least bit of sense. I've known people who cheated who were the last people on earth you'd suspect. In fact, I'll make the statement right now that anyone under the right circumstances with the right person is susceptible to it.

I completely agree with this.
And blaming someone with HIV for poor choices or questionable morals is just so... '80s. Go ahead and look down on promiscuous people, but anyone who has or has ever had unprotected sex with anyone who was not a virgin at the time is a potential HIV+ person.
