Bill and Melinda met in 1987. Well before he made all that money. Melinda is so not into money she regularly gives it away. Implying that Bill Gates has a wife only because he is stupid-wealthy is disingenuous.

I agree - the implication wasn't on his brillianc, it was on his net worth. While there are definitely women who are financially motivated in pair searching, I would say they are the minority.
