Having self confidence, being educated, having a good personality, and dressing nicely go a long ways. I think most women and men will overlook natural beauty if you have these traits.

I wish you could walk a day in my shoes to see how wrong you are.

I guess it depends on the individual. I'd much rather be with a "meh" looking person with a great personality and intelligence than a 10/10 who can't even boil pasta.

But if you look like Steve Buscemi, I guess you are screwed no matter what.

I think Steve just needs new teeth and he would look fine (not FINE, but fine). Some people do find him attractive just the way he is though.

Are you a woman or a man?

Most men don't seem to think like this. If they did I would have a date every night of the week. A lot of them seem to prefer that 10 that they can show off to their friends, or at least an 8.

I'm a guy. People seem to date other people similar to themselves. That's why "people of Walmart" always date/marry other "people of Walmart".

But yes, guys seem to prefer looks over anything, while women like personality and other non-physical traits. Still, even women won't date someone hideous.

On another note, a lot of people who say they are "ugly" actually aren't. They just need a haircut, new outfit, some weight loss, some braces/teeth whitening. Oh, and clothes that fit (no mom/dad jeans).

So now I'm just imagining that I'm unattractive, I've heard it all now.

First off- if you are in somewhat decent shape, I doubt you are that "ugly". But say you are (ugly is a harsh word), there are still women out there that feel the same way.

Did people (the ladies) tell you this? (Bold)

I mean, post a picture on your profile.

You should online date. Let them know who you are on the inside.

Try this exercise:

Walk up to 100 random women that you find attractive and say this:

"Hi, I'm Tony, want to go out on a date?"

If you do this, I guarantee you that at least 1 will say yes. I bet 5-10 say yes, actually.
