I never implied that he only has a wife because of his money. The implication was that someone of his net worth will likely never have trouble finding a partner. Say him and his wife divorced tomorrow, there’d be many women who’d line up to take her place.

And my point is, that his wife wasn't attracted to his net worth. In other words, he was able to attract his wife without his wealth. Other men who are average and even below average in looks actually meet, date, and marry women every day. No 'net worth' needed.

Quite right. I went to high school with Melinda. She (her family) started out with way more money than Bill. She was also a really nice, genuine person and still seems to be.
So I am 26 and never been on a date. I'm quite ugly, though I am in shape physically, well educated, and have a good white collar job. I just suck with women and it's extremely lonely being me. How do others who are in similar situation cope being ugly and single with zero prospects in sight.
