Jay how are you ever going to have a relationship with someone you cant even have a simple conversation with. You need to communicate to have a relationship. That is basic common sense. Its either talk to her or accept the fact that you dont have a chance with her and give up. Those are the only logical solutions.

If your presence makes her uncomfortable now, you can only try to change that. Otherwise thats the way it will always be and nothing will change that.

I very much agree with this statement. If she had previously showed any willingness to give me a chance; this definitely would be in order.

Given her current attitude, an upfront approach may not be best at this time. I am willing to wait, for things to simmer down before directly approaching her for a conversation.

Perhaps after we graduate from high school, and begin our careers, she will be more likely to reconsider. The adult world is known to open a new perspective for many.

What exactly is going on that you're waiting for things to "simmer down"???

The irony dripping from this piece of insight.

Well, having the unsolicited "help" provided by many of my classmates has certainly not helped things. As I previously stated; they have been bothering her with questions concerning this situation for some time now.

Despite my efforts to try and put a stop to this, they persist in their questioning. They claim they are trying to; “help me”, yet I know they are not driven solely by benevolence. Their curiosity to learn more about what exactly is happening is the main encouragement.

When this has finally ceased for good; I believe she may be more approachable.

I don't think you should wait until after you graduate to speak to her. You probably won't see her again after high school. You are going into separate careers. She is going to college and away from you. Jay think logically. It's not going to happen after high school. You should try to talk to her now, one last time. Otherwise, you will not see her again until the 10 year reunion.

One minute the people here say I should; "quit bothering her and leave her alone" (despite the fact that I have done nothing to "bother her" with).

The next minute someone else says; "You should talk to her before it is too late. You will not see her after you graduate."

Which is it? Should I make an effort to speak to her or not?

35 pages and this insanity is still ongoing. No, you should not speak to this girl. I'm sure this answer will just fall on deaf ears though.

He's been fixated on the same girl for 4 years and she doesn't even acknowledge him. That's like 80 pages worth of thread in CD years.

You better do something fast man. Or else you won't be able to see her, probably for good. College and careers do that. If you don't do something before graduation, you are going to die alone. You will never have a family, you will never have children, and you will be a virgin for the rest of your natural life.
