Could also be due to smoking, tanning, excessive drinking, drug use, and a junk food diet.

She does none of those, she's a college volleyball athlete

I very occasionally take one year off my age, especially if I've just turned that age, because I don't look my age, haven't achieved that much for my age and just don't want to be seen as older. I look about 20, sometimes 13 in some pics haha.

I don't know, personally I think it's nuts...but to me, I wouldn't date any woman who lies.

that happened to me once...I had been running an add in the dating column for a few years...trying to meet people...what happened was, when I met this one person, he thought I was the same age as when I started the add...I didn't tell him any different, actually didn't deem it important, b/c for some reason, men I dated, married, were always younger then myself....? Why I don't know, never planned it that way, and age to me, didn't mean much...but, he thought I lied to him...I just didn't think it was that important, honestly...

If our relationship would have continued to the next level, then I planned on telling him...and for me, it was starting to, so I did have a talk with him about it...he got all upset and accused me of lieing to him...so we broke up...now, that's fine, it wasn't meant to be...but a woman, who blantenly doesn't want any one else to know how old she is? I don't get that, honestly...I just don't.

Because men want us to be younger.

I've never lied about my age though.

I have unintentionally lied about my age due to a traumatic event. When I was unexpectedly widowed at 34, my world basically came to a standstill. Time just stopped for me. So a couple of years later when I rejoined the land of the living, so to speak, my brain kicked on where it left off. When I was 37 and 38 and people asked my age I told them 35 and 36 because part of my brain honestly thought that was the truth. (My friend experienced the same thing).

I've caught back up for the most part but when I was recently filling out paperwork for travel vaccinations, I correctly answered my birth date but put 36 for my age. It took a few seconds to realize that the math on that didn't quite add up.

I agree, but you seem to be assuming you would know they're lying.
