Some women are ashamed of their age, I consider it this way there are cancer children that would love to see their next birthday, let alone the 36yrs I have lived. Your age is blessing, show it off. Why worry about it
Because many women are seen as 'worthless' if they're over a certain age. Hell, I've been told that once I hit 30 I may as well buy a bunch of cats because guys won't even look at me.
It's just one of those superficial things on how people are evaluated. For women, from 30 or so she is supposed to be past her prime. Also women may not be too sincere about their weight. Unfortunately, women are valued for their looks just like men are valued for their economic status and accomplishments. Sad because a woman is more than just her looks and a man is more than just his economic status and accomplishments. So why do we have some women lie about their age/weight and men about their economic status and accomplishments? Because they feel their opportunities with the opposite sex will be less if they don't say what they believe the other person is expecting to hear.
And I have noticed a really weird pattern in the past few years.
Sometimes someone will be flirting with me. In the age range of around my age or 5-7 years younger.
They'll ask me how old I am, or throw out a guess. The guess is usually a societally acceptable age [27 or so]. When I reveal my real age, they disappear a couple of minutes later. It is rather odd, but it is suddenly like I am an unacceptable age to them.
As for the older ones? Well they stick around. Hmm totally puzzled. We'll see what happens now that I have hit a "milestone" age.
I met a kid at the bar last weekend (I went there for a drink by myself and struck up a conversation with a few people) call me a 'cougar'. He was 22 and I'm 29. I don't really know how I feel about that.
I'm really interested to see how things are going to change when I turn 30 later this year. I mean, it couldn't be any worse than it is already date wise

I thought cougars were attractive women in their 40's preying on young men? So he thought you were hot but too old for him.
