But the thing is I don't want a man who is divorced with a child even if the child is grown. It's still different to my values not to mention he can't marry in church.

What about a man who is divorced without kids? I didn't ask for my divorce and I didn't want it. Does that get held against me? Are you really as judgmental as you come off or am I misreading that?

Depends on a lot of things, such as if he can get an annulment and what type of marriage and why he got divorced. I would consider a man who had a brief civil marriage (say in Vegas). I dated a man who was briefly married in Vegas and got an annulment a few months later. Long term marriage in church and divorce because he was to blame? nope.

Yep, very judgmental. You just answered that. Why do you assume the man was to blame????
No women don't have more choices, nor are most of the men on these sites good men. Yes I would get hundreds of messages but when you take out the "you're hot" or the other ones looking for sex, or the men who ignored what I desired and contacted me the number goes low.
Women have more choices for sex, but not for relationships. Despite that, consider that out of those hundreds of messages, some are actually looking for a relationship. They send decent messages, but get ignored for whatever reason.
Now consider the guy who gets no messages/replies. No choice for either sex or a relationship.

Who really is at a disadvantage here?
Sure some are looking for a relationship. I'm not denying that nor is anyone else but many aren't. Maybe the guy who gets no messages is picky like he is 45 and obese and wants 25 and thin.
Not lazy at all, just realistic. And what do you mean by elevate? I'm in good shape and have a good career. I'm into self help, so always elevating. Here, its just a lack of women who meet even my minimal criteria.
So there is nothing you can do to become competitive in the dating pool featuring the top 15% of women (meaning the thin ones) in OKC? How was your dating life in Atlanta?
I offer the same things that a man would offer such as companionship. I don't have to "offer" anything a man doesn't and nope sorry not desperate. If I don't marry (and I will)then oh well.
I guess your companionship isn't enough to land a man hence your being in your mid 40s and still single.
