Are you trying to suggest that 5'11" and 5'10" are short? I'm not sure that women have a realistic perspective on height.

The op has written a total of 3 sentences in this entire thread. If you can't do the math here, then I can't help you

I would date men of most any height if they had the right looks/personality combo, but I'm extremely attracted to what I guess you would call the "super tall" - 6'5 or so and over. As long as he isn't gangly. I'm 5'9, so I love the feeling of being small next to someone. Don't get that very often.
Lots of guys of this height, I've noticed, are with petite women! *sniff*

Also that defensiveness doesn't behoove you
If you were in some border towns you would taller than 95% of the population. I'm 6' and was taller than almost everone I knew in Nogales: Yo era un gigante.

Yes?

Being tall is rarely a bad thing to be when you're a guy. There are plenty of women who will search for men who are 6ft or taller because that is a requirement they have.

It's like a gift really. You should be thanking your parents all the time for being tall. lol

I'd date them. Just from them talking proves they are smart nice men.

You missed the point. I was proving not all tall men make it big.

I'm kind of tall at 6'4", but it was no help to me in trying to get a date. Thankfully it did help me with basketball and volleyball.

Yep. When women say they prefer taller men, people freak out. When a guy says he prefers a smaller, petite woman then that's just a natural preference.

Regardless, I thought we'd already gone over our 'women don't like short men' thread count max for the week?

I'm 6'4" and I've definitely noticed that women tend to like taller men. My other friends who are 6 feet and over have all been fortunate to date more women, and better looking women for the most part. Some guys are exceptions obviously. My one buddy is 6'5" and likely won't get laid for another decade. While I have one friend who's 5'9" and has dated plenty of hunnies.

I think self esteem has more to do with it as others have pointed out, and generally taller men do have better self esteem. I think some of it might be nature and animal instinct. In theory, a taller man is more likely to "protect" his woman, as well as produce larger offspring. Women may not even think of it like that, but there's likely some subliminal thoughts. Nature takes it's course, and that's sometimes out of our control.
