I'm sure your grades and focus will take a hit if you do that and your parents most likely wont be pleased with that move. Plus, there is a big difference from being in love or being in lust or thinking with the wrong head instead. People who are often in lust swear they are in love and too blind to know the difference and nobody usually can tell then anything otherwise. But once the lust fade away, then you can see and think much clearer about things.
I was a Freshman when I met my husband and introduced him to my parents over Christmas break of that year. We got married after my sophomore year and will soon be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary.

True, especially since he paid for my junior and senior year of college and my masters degree rather than my doing this for him. OTOH, it does happen. My parents, btw, were not happy at first, but came around after they realized I was not going to drop out of college even though we got married.
And yes, part of my infatuation with her is how different she is. It was a culture shock for both of us during those breaks. I mean I've been to Chicago, but NYC was just spectacular and her reactions to my hometown were priceless. Plus, that accent is just funny to listen to.
Next time they meet or whatever, I should just tell her to do her and NOT tone down the cussing because my parents don't even like her when she's tone downed her cussing, so why punish my girl and put a filter on her mouth?
Besides I've already pointed out all the good qualities about her, but they don't get it. It's not even like I start the conversation, they come to me about all the bones they have to pick with " this Danielle girl". I point out to them

Yeah, one minute, and yes we do fight, one minute she'll be throwing everyobscenity in the book at me, but when I asked her to help me study for a math final, she stayed up all night with me( don't really know if that's more a Brooklyn thing or a girlfriend thing)

I don't appreciate the cussing as much when she's directing it at me, and I doubt she'll ever abuse me.
