Do your best Bones McCoy impersonation and say, "Dammit Jim! I am a boyfriend, not a doctor!"
But seriously, usually fat people don't ask this. They already know. The ones who ask are insecure (and at worst have a little pudge but aren't really "fat"). So the answer is just, "no."
Anybody who is actually asking that needs to be ready for whatever response she gets. Unless they are suffering from conditions with disordered perceptions and distorted body image, like anorexia nervosa or body dysmorphic disorder, people generally have some degree of consciousness of their bodily appearance and their own fitness levels...you shouldn't have to ask.
If you're asking the question in order to "test" a boyfriend's response, honestly, you're being manipulative and you deserve whatever answer you get. I have personally never needed anybody to tell me if I am height-weight proportionate or not. I buy my clothes, I see myself naked, I know where I'm at. Quizzing somebody to see if I get the "right" answer is insecure and, quite frankly, asinine.

Most fat people aren't blind or don't own mirrors.
