Well it is impossible to have a connection with someone you don't know. That's for starters.
I agree, but I've had very strong infatuation feelings for people who I didn't know. I'm just saying that if they felt the same, I know there would be motivation at least on my end to try to make a connection.

Sounds like something teens do with celebrities, not a real, adult thing. It's all fantasy. If you don't know them, there is nothing to be infatuated with.

You're right. I've never stopped doing that with celebrities and real guys too. It's about being obsessed with their looks and how I imagine them to be. In lots of cases, they probably don't live up to the fantasy I've created in my head.

You might try, with the help of a therapist, do try to deal with people in reality instead of a fantasy. It's actually far more fulfilling. And NONE of them would live up to your fantasies, I'm sure, we're all incredibly flawed. And many times those flaws are endearing and charming.
