Well...what's 'realistic'? To me, the whole issue is a 'eh' rather than an 'eeewwww'. When a man marries a 20 something female, we all say "trophy wife" and generally, we move on. Whatever. It only piques my interest if the man divorced his wife to marry the 20 something. That's about it.
Hey, I can totally see a 20 something man having the hots for Helen Mirren. I think she's gorgeous, in a cool, classy kind of way.

I think she was gorgeouser 10-15 yrs. ago. I can't quite see a 25-yr-old guy with a 74-yr-old, but, whatever. Harold and Maude, anyone?

I would say ewww to it being reversed too....it’s too big of a difference to be realistic for a real relationship that’s healthy....in intimacy, things in common, interests, activities you share together.....all of it.
But there are a lot of things that most people think is gross...and I really don't. At worst, it's "none of my business." I'm not there to yuck someone else's yum.
My only issue is if everybody involved is a properly consenting adult person.
And in a situation like some, that would go both ways. I don't approve of scamsters taking advantage of mentally compromised old people who have accumulated assets, either.
I think people should do what they feel is right for them and what makes them happy....the only time I think its a bit funky is if the age is the ONLY thing they like about the other person (merely a trophy wife/husband). But even then, it is absolutely none of my business.
As far as me though? I would not be in a romantic relationship with a guy 25+ years younger or older than me (51). I would be friends though, without a doubt.

In my experience, when a 20 something woman gets with a 60 year old man lots of women say ewwwwww. That's with 6 w's, at least.
