I wouldnt really react any way unless it was one of my daughters.
Even at at end I would only question if this is what she really wanted.

I guess if I missed having a child at home with me, which I definitely wouldn't, this could be amusing. Perhaps the 20 something always missed have a mom or grandma that would care for him like this older woman could. I had a cousin who lost her father when she was younger and was happy with a man old enough to be her father.

I would be bored very quickly with a 20 something.
What if he was a history major? he would then have a great understanding of any op culture references you made.

If it was an acquaintance I'd just laugh to myself and watch for my own amusement. If it was someone I was related to or very close to I'd try to talk some sense in to them because I'd smell a scam. I'm 56 and have a male friend who's 28 that I hang out with sometimes but nooooooope on anything beyond that! I actually HOPE people assume mother/son when they see us because the alternative is too weird.

I knew a couple that met and fell in love, whose ages were around 25 (him) and 60 (her). They met in a doctor's office, and were both very interested in alternative medicine, and made careers for themselves together. She asked him, when his serious interest in her became clear, if he was sure about having a relationship with her, and he was. They got married, and are still married about 6 or 7 years later.

I wouldn't want to be with someone 30-40 years older than me, but none of my business.

I'm a 62 yr. old woman.

On one hand, YAY! I can probably have sex every day! Maybe multiple times a day! I have indeed won the lottery!

On the other hand, well...I don't want another baby to take care of.
