I fractured my ankle …. Riding bareback and barefoot. Slid off my horse, stepped in a hole and rolled my ankle.
I had to send my horse home…without me. I figured that if my horse showed up without me…Andre would come looking. And he did. Lol
Six weeks in a cast…. I am bummed!
Oh no! Hope it heals quickly and without any issues!
Sending you lots of healing energy Sydney! Had a very similar ankle situation the first time I went horseback riding, rolled it and was holed up in bed all day the next several days. It swelled up to twice its normal size and was blue and purple, but I don't think it was broken though. It didn't discourage me from riding again, fortunately, because I really do enjoy it.
Six weeks in a cast, ayayay. That seems like an eternity when June is just around the corner!

I am so sorry this happened to you, Kel. I hope you heal quickly without pain or itching..
If your horse had stepped into a hole he/she might have had to be put down, sadly.
One time, my 1st wife sprained her ankle when we were riding at Yosemite. Luckily her ankle wasn't fractured or broken. We had some funtimes riding on some local beaches...
I reached out to the dealer. Gonna go pick it up Wednesday if it's still available.
The game is afoot.
Hot damn! About time. That is exciting. The bright green from the 70s that is not available is my favorite. A Challenger with that would be awesome. When I bought my Jeep three years ago I toyed the the idea of a Challenger and a Charger and concluded the SUV would be the most usable. I have not looked backed.

At least. I was proud of chow for finding work during my induced sabbatical here. You can’t rush these things, you know.
Do you still have the Mustang?
I do. But it's not very reliable at this point and doesn't make sense to put more money into it, although I still love it. I'm still dead set on getting a Miata when the time comes ().
