Just got back from the date. I really enjoyed myself and she is legit interested in another meeting. We may try to squeeze in another meeting before I head back home. If not, she mentioned about visiting where I live next month before she goes back to work. I gave her some (inexpensive) roses which she really liked. But she is very attractive and we seem very compatible.
She mentioned what was my plan as far as where to live in the future. I told her I am in no way married to staying in DC and I'd move to her parts if the job was right.

Well heading back to DC tonight. Me and her are trying to line up dates to meet up next month. I even told my mother about her (which I never discuss my dating life with her) and she is a fan. Me and mom even had a talk about keeping my expectations in check and making sure I get myself in order so I can come correct to her. This visit went very well, my mother and I didn't even get into any argument (a rarity.)
I'm trying to not get too excited, but I really think I found a keeper, and I will do everything to make sure she thinks she found one too.

Diss, I think it's cool how this is even having a positive affect on how you interact with your mom. It really sounds like you have a reasonable handle on the situation.
