I've avoided references to my affluence although the signs are there in my profile for smart women.

I don't demean a man's "market value." I'd be silly to do that. I'd be competing career successful me up against deadbeats. A woman would have to go a lot before picking a deadbeat over a successful man.

These are just stark facts that you can hide but eventually they out.

It's nice to be affluent but not broadcast the fact, and then perhaps find your date pleasantly surprised when you reveal that you are better off than average.

But it's totally lame to expect your affluence to get you women. If you depend on that you will get gold digger women.

What are you talking about "our inherent characteristics", as if we are all identically the same in what we want, how we act, etc?

I sleep on my right side, and my fiance sleeps on her left.

She is disgusted by beef products, and I love them (though I rarely eat them for health reasons).

I love going on long, 60 mile bike rides, and she does not do long rides.

We are different people. We like different things. We do different things. We eat different things. Yet, here we are together.

I never said all humans were identical.

Yes, you did. "Our inherent characteristics" implies all of us are susceptible to these traits.

Now you're backtracking.

I think the amount of evidence we've collected over the centuries is sufficient to attribute certain characteristic to humans. But I suppose we can agree to disagree.
