I ran to the grocery before anyone woke up and I started making bread and cookies. The kiddos and husband woke up to the sweet aromas of goodies! Their smiles on tired faces were so sweet!
It was a beautiful rainy day today. The outer fringe of TS Fay came through today.
I made chocolate chip pancakes for the kids. Then I went to the library and worked my way through a difficult four-page section of my novel. I wrote like a pagan god. My muse wept at the beauty of it.
Man, I've been running like the Energizer Bunny all day and still not quite done. Only looking forward to dinner finally and perhaps a movie. Promised sierra to take her to the mountains tomorrow, though, 'cause she tends to resent work with no rewards.
can you make some pancakes for me...I'm kinda hungry right now...just mail them UPS...thaaanks

I went down to put in a few hours at the animal shelter. I took a couple of dogs out for walks and taught one of them how to sit. When I got home, I found a couple of stray kittens on my front porch. Fortunately, I have some kitten food, so I fed them. I'm hoping they stick around for a while.
