What's wrong with that ? I thought all you feminists want to do everything that men do. Picking up the check on a date is as manly as it gets. Only traditional old fashioned women who reject 1960s style radical feminist values thinks the guy should always pay for everything on a date. Don't you want to be equal to men ?

Hate to tell you this I am old fashioned in they ways of dating and so was my dh and he still pays for everything so that I can stay at home with our kids.
I thought it was a pretty good list and something women should have a look at. I'm always amused by these gals running around "oh I love my little johnny" and the dude looks like he got dragged out of the gutter.
great post but the the 20 sins (i read it) cover just about anybody including brad pitt and tom cruise.
the problem is most women find mr right just plain boring and find mr wrong exciting and fun.

So true! Most of the points were well thought out but towards the end, the list seemed to be like a legal document that tries to cover the writer from any potential lawsuit.
I can't imagine why a man that meets or exceeds all the other points should wash out on points 19 and 20 but women like that really deserve to be single! The writer tries to make these points relevant but its a stretch. Besides, when men have a fundamental disagreement on values, they aren't eager to commit either.
I am convinced that many women will use these as a cop out and end up overlooking much worse things in guys who appear to be what they want or are good at spreading the BS. This probably explains why the best men I knew when I was in my 20's had few or no prospects while the really bad actors seemed to have no problems. Women used their gut feeling and believed that they deserved someone who would really impress their girlfriends. Divorce was inevitable.
However, can the women also say they'd meet these standards? Unlikely.
