Short hair is easier to manage. Long locks are sexy but if the woman works, the maintenance is ridiculous. Long hair is for teens. Short hair is sophisticated and grown up.
I disagree.
I have had both long (super long down to my butt currently) and short hair, and short is MUCH harder to maintain, while longer hair is easy. Wash, brush, and go. And for the record, short hair for older women is a recent thing; traditionally women had longer hair till death.
I don't know, from how I have heard men talk, they don't want to be married. It is the women who brag, even if they have some couch potato at home, that they are glad to be married.
Women always have to bring up the husband in a conversation, but I can talk to a guy who is married at work, and they don't bring up the wife.
I don't speak of girlfriends at work either--especially around other guys. Like, I might have some competition or something if I so much as mention her name.
But I have noticed most of the women I see who are married have short hair.
So what gives? Do men prefer to marry women with short hair?
So, should those of us with longer hair cut it? Does that increase our odds of even finding a boyfriend?
It depends on the person.
I look super-sexy with short hair (a very short, sleek bob is my usual "short" haircut); it does something for my features, makes me look like I'm all eyes and lips. It looks cute with my small size.
With longer hair, I look plainer and more ordinary. Also older, I think.
When my hair's longer, I always wear it pulled back in a ponytail or some kind of bun, anyway. I can't stand it in my face.
There are many women who- because of their size, head shape, and features- look hotter with short hair than long.
There are other women who look better with longer hair.
It all depends.
Mostly, it's about what you feel comfortable with; confidence is the sexiest thing of all.

IMHO...a girl with the right facial features etc. looks SMOKING HOT with short hair. Other women would look awful with short hair....and vice-versa.
I think short hair popularity with married gals might be more a function of ease of maintenance and time savings with kids and all those other responsibilities.
