Um, let me try here for giggles.

Perhaps because he didn't really work hard enough to shape, mold, and model her after a super woman from the 21st century?

Maybe....because he didn't shackle her down when she cooks and cleans in the house, and bought that sexy lingerie?

I feel bad for the wife here. I would love to hear her thoughts. If she has any of her own, or is allowed to have them at this point

Like Rousseau says sometime you have to force people to be free. A revolution from above.

Forget Rousseau, this is more of a Marat situation and hope it does not become your undoing.

You state that you are offended by the feminists. But why would you not strive to make your wife better so that she can deal with the feminists on her own and work on her own emancipation.

Perhaps you can release her from your grip?

I would like to talk to Marius' wife to get her story.

Marius, is she allowed to talk to a dude?

Well, I kinda live in the real world of...me. And I kinda like how Morpheus handled it in the Matrix.

"We never free a mind after a certain time." Well, free your own mind, and the rest will follow.

Why don't you step back, let her take the reigns in her own life, and do what she pleases, say what she wants to say, do what she wants to do, and stop trying to robotically free something that is not yours to free?

Is she in slave chains? Is she being beaten in the Philippines? You could have your soap box and eat it too if you wanted, but honestly....a husband supports and cares for his wife. He defends her, he takes care of her, and he loves her for who she is.

What the hell kind of vows did you two take? Call me old fashioned and outdated, but respect is really appreciated, especially respect for being who I am.

She has a journey in life to live. It is not your place to rob her of the experiences she is to have. Just step back, and let the chips fall where they may. If you two are happy, yay for you! I really wonder if she signed up to be a stepford wife though.........Oh and have an open relationship. Please tell me that was part of your vows too?

Who else needs an aspirin?

This sounds soooo much like the useless dialogue I heard "back in the day" when my friends and I all sat around getting stoned.
