I kind of think both are pretty subjective anyway. What I think it ugly, might not be to someone else. Also, I think my ex is an a**, but in my eyes, that also makes him kind of ugly.
the hard pitch of the ugly is i got a heart of gold, often not true. but true it is very easy to be a jerk if you are good looking and get away with it.
i was careful to not genderize this post, beauty is clearly a genderless game.
remember the ugly old witch that gave snow white the apple???, im tellin you ugly but not a heart of gold, she was a natural born killer.
People are drawn to me not by my looks as I'm not pretty to myself, but they are drawn to my unique personality.
It would be worse to be good looking but an ass.
So many times I have been told that guy over there is good looking but not nice at all and that tends to turn people away.
Beauty is skin deep, but ugly is to the bone. Besides beauty will fade with age, but a good personality is eternal.
It's kind of like in a show I watched this beautiful woman was extremely vain, so her hairdresser cursed her with the mirror of her soul.
Everyone who saw her and even her reflection was the ugliness of her soul, but she didn't physically change, however everyone else saw her for what she truly was.
To explain it better the outside matched the inside, you saw beyond her physical looks, in a way all of us wear masks just like the saying looks can be deceiving.
I've noticed that many people who tend to have good looks are rather cruel and nasty people.

Id say good looking but an ass,much easier to find a mate if youre attractive people will put up with whatever your negatives qualities,good looking people are treated much better in society and fawned over..Plus you can change /alter yuor personality to get what you want..
Great person but ugly your gonna be lonely for awhile..

the fun thing about being considered a good-looking ass is that you get to surprise people when they find out that youre actually nice. under-promise... over-deliver
besides i dont believe the stereotype that says that attractive people are usually stuck up
