If I were to be suddenly single I would prefer to date childless men just to avoid the extra drama that comes with them. I figure, at that point, my life would have enough drama to be getting on with. That being said, I would never exclude a man from the dating pool just because he has children - that would be insanely hypocritical!
On the dating website that I am using, the first thing I look at on the profile is the section that allows you to list if you have children or not. I'd say out of every 25 profiles that I view only 1-2 don't have children. Out of the 25 I'd say 4-5 say divorced.
Most of the women seem to be single, unwed mothers. In addition, they(unwed mothers) always seem to be the one's with the highest standards and require a "god fearing man".
I'll pass.

This term is so ignorant. It will never die, because we think everything hiphop is good/great. It's funny how some don't like hip/hop, but will incorporate some items into their every day life.
She's an unwed mom. No more and no less.
Actually it IS more to it... This non-chalant attitude towards out of wedlock births is why we have so many of them. People no longer make getting to know each other long enough to decide to procreate with them, a priority.... It's hop in bed and let's hope no one gets pregnant....
But then they turn around and hope someone looks past their past long enough to consider them worthy for marriage when they couldn't make a good decision like proper condom usage and birth control pills to prevent a pregnancy by or with someone they had no intentions on being with like that.

They assume that the guys they had the kids with weren't god fearing?
When maintenance enforcement (the local bad boys call them "the Gestapo") gets their hands on them, they'll become god fearing.
These single mamas should try an atheist. These guys know that they have to get it right the first time. Then again, probably a difficult sell in Alabama.
