During the part of my life that I was enjoying sexual promiscuity, I had close non sexual relationships with several women.
The ones with whom life has not separated us are still my friends to this day.
The women who I slept with were looking for the same thing as I.
Just a way temporary , stress free way to satiate the desire.
I always wore condoms. The only woman I did not wear one with was my ex-wife but thats another story.
And I know that quite a few people feel more comfortable when the sex is coupled with an emotional connection.
But I preferred to get the emotional connection from my non sexual friends, and my desire from short term flings.
It just worked for me better.
