Door knocking believers are usually fanatics....real and accurate believers will NOT knock on your door.

Vizio's post had to do with Christians having their rights taken away from them. I asked which rights were taken away for being Christian, not whether some Christians had done something that got the attention of the authorities. Now what function of the exercise of your religion has been taken away? Are you forbidden from attending services? Are you forbidden from wearing appropriate religious garments at appropriate times? Has your holy book been banned? Is somebody trying to prevent you from believing whatever you want to believe? Have you been prevented from praying in any way that is defining of your religion?
Sorry my link doesn't work but I didn't make it up. If i found it, anyone can if they are really interested.

You have gaged my opinion of Mormonism almost correctly, although I think "extremely" is a bit hyperbolic. My goal is to shoe them there ae contradictions between the Bible and eh BOM.

If these Mormon missionaries knew how antagonistic your view of them really is, I bet they'd skip the dinner and find someone else to teach. If you are in any way, shape or form leading them on, you ought to be ashamed.
While I am antagonist about their religion, that does not make me antagonist toward them If I was, they probably would not come back. I tell them right up front, I think the BOM is adding to Scripture, something the Bible tells us not to do, and that makes in not being from God. One can be opposed to something and still be civil.

Since you have no evidence I am leading them on, you remark is out of line.

It doesn't matter whether I'm interested or not. I asked you, specifically:
Now what function of the exercise of your religion has been taken away?

Are you forbidden from attending services?

Are you forbidden from wearing appropriate religious garments at appropriate times?

Has your holy book been banned?

Is somebody trying to prevent you from believing whatever you want to believe?

Have you been prevented from praying in any way that is defining of your religion?

Vizio wouldn't answer. Will you answer those questions?

I just fixed your link, and guess what?

Every single example connects to Christian-focused websites (the Christian Post, for example) or WorldNetDaily.

Confirmation bias, much?

Let me address some of the things on that list:

First:

Quote:
#9 An unclassified Department of Homeland Security report published a couple years ago entitled “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” claims that a belief in Bible prophecy “could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition and weapons.” The report goes on to state that such people are potentially dangerous.
How is saying that radicalized religion is dangerous 'taking Christian rights away'?

Quote:
#11 All over the nation, “child protection agencies” are ripping an inordinate number of children out of Christian homes. In many of these cases the parents believe in homeschooling their children or they do not believe in having their children vaccinated.
Allow me to quote from the linked article:

Quote:
The Hendersons were investigated at their home following an anonymous tip that Mr. Henderson had slapped his daughter. Jeffrey Henderson was arrested on the scene, and their 6 children subsequently put into foster homes.
It's not 'anti-Christian' in an way to protect children from potential abuse. Nor does it deprive Christians of the right to practice their religion (I'm pretty sure 'thou shalt beat your kids' has never been one of the Ten Commandments).

Quote:
#18 According to a shocking FBI document obtained by Oath Keepers, the FBI definition of “suspicious activity” now includes making “extreme religious statements” and believing in “radical theology“.

Well, duh!
Religious extremism is dangerous. That's why it's called 'extremism'.

#2 Paypal has initiated “formal investigations” of a large number of Christian websites and organizations. Apparently, many of these investigations have been launched due to concerns that these websites and organizations do not hold to a “politically-correct” view of sexuality.
Well...from the Last Days Watchman blog (one of the ones that had its account terminated):
Quote:
In 2011, PayPal closed my account definitively, after a campaign orchestrated by U.S. homosexualist group AllOut. To me, PayPal explained that I am ineligible to receive donations from my friends and readers because “you are not a registered non-profit organization.” To AllOut, PayPal explained that it closed my account because “We take very seriously any cases where a user has incited hatred, violence or intolerance because of a person’s sexual orientation.”
Quote:
Then PayPal executives dispatched an email explaining that because of “legal and regulatory constraints,” the company is “unable to process donation payments for non-registered charities and non-profit organizations; political party/organizations; religious institutions; personal/organizational fundraisers, etc. …”
They cancelled his account because their policies did not allow for that particular use. Yet he blames 'homosexual activists' for his inadvertent violation of PayPal policies.

Which rights have YOU had taken away?

If you've had rights taken away you should be able to list them without having to resort to Google. As should Vizio.
