just like it is a fact that you are of no more value than anyone else.
Again, not a fact . Humans have value and no one is above the other, I never said I was but I have value and so do others. You can choose to be miserable, cold and unproductive, that's your loss.
Who's this we? got a mouse in your pocket? Birth control is a better option than wiping out humans.Personally I would not be opposed to going back to "olden days" when we didn't have all this fun stuff to play with.
Hear! Hear!
I agree with you Nea...life is just sooooooo "complicated" now. Says I...as I type on a computer. LOL!
Oh, and TKramar (I really dig your cynical/sarcastic style)...I rarely agree with Nea...but this I have learned---She is REALLY sharp...incredibly tenacious...and can "sting you" if you give her the slightest opening. You have your work cut out for you if you go "toe to toe" with her. Believe THAT!

Gldnrule, I am not that bad ( I will take the sharp and tenacious complement though!)...I am just getting to old to put up with BS and have decided to not be so PC all the time I dont mean to sting anyone ( unless they deserve it) and I certainly not going to put up with being told I nor my kids, or any other loved one holds any value. You and I only seem to disagree on the God front other than that I think we would get along just fine.
On the other note, my mom always said I belonged in the 14-1700's, since I have been fascinated with that time period forever.
I very rarely make any comments concerning abortion, however I feel compelled to say something now. I do not believe in the taking of another life just for the heck of it and I can sit here and say that because of the fact that I did take quite a few number of lives during the two tours of duty that I did in Vietnam but it was a situation that I was trained for, now I realize that it is kinda hard to try to equate the two but I look at it this way, a life is a life. I'm not against abortion, I'm pro-choice and the way I look at it, I feel it should be up to the woman to make that decision, that's between her and her Creator, whoever that may be. I do not like the idea that a subject such as this has become politicized, politics has no business in this matter and as far as I'm concerned neither does religion. There are many cases where a young woman has become pregnant through no choice of her own, rape being one and in cases such as that I do not think that it's right for the woman to have to suffer with the reminder of that heinous act. There is also cases where a woman's health is at risk because of a pregnancy and in many cases the only way for her to survive is to have that abortion, I can understand that and there are probably other medical situations that would also call for a woman to have an abortion. I do believe that if abortions become illegal that women are going to have to go places where having an abortion could cause their deaths. That's why I think it's a personal thing and strictly between the woman and her Creator.
