The Bible warns against letting women teach and lead in theological matters though. It looks like here's another example that this alleged sincere religious belief is actually just cherry-picking to line up with what she wished were true and throwing out the rest.

It's simple: The woman is an idiot and a bigot. The people who support her are equally idiotic and bigoted.
I don't give her that much credit. She's a tool of Liberty Counsel, who desperately need to keep her in jail for as long as possible so as to make her more of a "martyr." Most of us don't see her as anything like that, but it's red meat to the fundies.

That is what the Bible teaches. It teaches a lot of backwards things.
I am going to TRY to explain this to you once again.
She was NOT jailed for faith. When she was ORDERED to do the job she was elected to do by the judge and refused, she was then jailed for CONTEMPT of court-for NOT obeying the judge's order. Being jailed has nothing to do with her faith-it has to do with her not following a lawful order.
And the only reason she is in contempt of court is because of her faith. Her religious beliefs are still at the center and she has been punished for not willing to go against them. Surely the judge had the brains to know what kind of message that jailing a person for their Christian faith would send to Christians in America, but they did it anyways. Couldn't do something less controversial like place her on furlough or something. No, let's give her the most extreme punishment.

No, that's how secularism works. It has no respect for religious freedom. If a new law is created then it's put up or shut up with your side. Yet when the laws don't favor your position, it's protest city like the defense of marriage act.
No, she isn't interested in the Supreme Judge. She is interested in politicians like Mike Huckabee who has promised to visit her in jail.

It is quite significant that James and John wanted to follow the precedent of Elijah and call "fire from heaven" to destroy a Samaritan village. Jesus rebuked them and told them, "You do not know what spirit you are of," (Luke 9:54-55 vs 2nd Kings 12:14). He basically claimed their spirit was ungodly if not demonic.

Actually, no she was cited for contempt because as the face of country government, she placed the government in the position of denying the constitutional rights of its citizens.

Oh the judge most definitely understood the message that holding Ms. Kim in contempt would send to some Christians in America, which is why she went to jail instead of being fined, fines the judge knew full well she would not have to pay herself.
