I somehow doubt a real scientist would say that. He may think the theory of evolution is a darn good explanation for species, but I doubt he'd say it's a "fact." No one was even around when species first appeard on earth, so no one could ever absolutely prove it's true.
How many times must it be noted that Evolution and Abiogenesis are two compeltely seperate sciences?
Evolution is a fact, and yes, credible scientists (as opposed to the very small number of YECers with degrees) states that Evolution is a fact.

Argumentum ex Absentia? (i.e., reasoning from the non-existence of evidence, and within the frame of conventional scholarly enquiry...)
Why do you theists insist on using this dumb postulation?
Of course no one was there, not even the author of the 1st 5 books of the bible was there; Moses never wrote them as they are written in the 3rd person
I notice you didn't address my post....Too tough for you?
Without taking advantage of what is known about evolution what do you suppose the state of agriculture, medicine, etc. would be today? We wouldn't have nearly the abundance of food, our life span would be much shorter among many other things.
How is that? You can enhance the production of rice, but you can't make rice evolve into a banana, just like fish did not evolve into a human. Fish can change, but it will still be fish, not ape, or human. There is no evidence of one species evolving into another.

Epic Fail for you once again.
Plenty of evidence for one species evolving into another.
It has been PROVEN to work by practical application, while evolutions is pure speculation.
Evolution is also proven by the practical application of the fossil records and the Geological Column.
