I went to a party yesterday in Vacaville. We got into town yesterday around 3pm/ It was hot but there was a strong breeze coming off the Delta. Around 5 pm we went swimming and we probably stayed in the pool until 7ish when the delta breeze was both stong enough and it was cool enough where it just felt to cold to go swimming. But sat around on the back patio eating dinner and cake and it was quite pleasant on the back patio doing that. We left Vacaville around 8:30ish and we were back in Folsom by 9:30. But the delta breeze was much more attentuated here and it was much warmer in Sacramento. Around 11 pm last night it had cooled off enough where I turned off the AC and opened up the windows.

I was surprised how much Vacaville weather was better in the evenings vs Sacramento. I had assumed that we had the same climate for the most part, but now I am less certain of that.

Moisture from Tonite
It's normal in Sacramento
It's just a heatwave event going on. Temps will get back to normal soon
