Glad you're getting rain now. We've had fairly regular rain, certainly above average, in San Diego this winter. I think we're the envy of the state this year. Rather unusual, but it's very green everywhere, which is beautiful.

Crazy winter, Crazy times!

The last 3 months in Sacramento have been like a San Diego winter, or even an Arizona winter because it's been in the upper 70's and low 80's. for days on end.

It's still very green in Sacramento despite the unusual lack of rain.

2019/20 Winter to date:
Sacramento is at 50% of normal.
San Diego is at 108% of normal.

Normal Average to date:
Sacramento: 16.54 inches
San Diego: 8.51 inches

This Winter to date:
Sacramento: 8.27 inches
San Diego: 9.17 inches

The central valley has some of the nicest air quality in the world right now.
Go out on the patio and enjoy it.
Go to a coffee shop and enjoy their patio if you don't have your own.
You loving it, chim?

It continues to be a strange winter in terms of rainfall across our state:

Season to date:

Sacramento Exec AP 9.51
Sacramento - CSUS 10.63
San Francisco Downtown 11.11
SFO Airport 8.93
Oakland Airport 8.45
Livermore 6.24
San Jose 7.21
Los Angeles Downtown 14.68
Long Beach 14.20
Oceanside 17.30
Ramona 18.20
San Diego - Lindbergh 13.44
Ontario 14.17

Sacramento area is running about 56-57 percent of average, Bay Area around 45 percent of average, LA just above 100 percent of average, and San Diego area around 130 percent of average. I think it was last year where we also had SoCal rainfall totals above many NorCal ones. It's definitely unusual to have so many rainy days in March and April, but the nice thing is that it's extraordinarily green. I'm hoping for another desert superbloom on the heels of this.

Hope y'all are enjoying some sun up there! Cheeers.
