edit- oops.. I didn't look at the location. This is actually at 1604/Culebra, which really sucks because that traffic is retarded.

Most of that dirt came from the hill they plowed through just after Loop 1604S bridge. Don't think there is any planned development there yet.

dirty tricks or a good sign?
my son received a Which Which gift certificate (free dessert with purchase) with his report card. Does that mean they'll open soon?
And what's with the school giving out promotional coupons? Does Which Which have some benevolent twist? Do they give money to the school?

My son got a free meal at Jason's Deli for his A/B honor roll. I don't think there is anything sinister going on, other than them trying to get you in there--they know the kid isn't going alone.

I do know that Chick-Fil-A sponsors Spirit Night, and they give a portion of the sales to the school. Also, I think Papa John's or Domino's does the same thing. I think it's cool. But Chick-Fil-A gets mad busy on Spirit Night, that's for sure.

LOL we all like to brag about our kids, it seems! Mine got A/B honor roll, won the 5th grade spelling bee and now goes to the school-wide one, and perhaps on to regional, had perfect attendance, is in Advanced math, aced his TAKS tests, belongs to the Young Astronauts club, is in the school play week after next, and he's on the morning broadcasting team. Whew! He's such a great kid, if I do say so myself!

Anyone else have awesome kids?

WOW! Congrats for raising such an outstanding kiddo!!! If you would total up our 6 kids, they did about half of that collectively, but have all grown up to be good, decent folk with jobs, and that is every parents dream so we are pleased!

Wow, 6!! I would have a hard time remembering 6 names, let alone their accomplishments. Congratulations to you, too, for raising 6 productive members of society! One down, one to go for me.

You get extra kudos too, for being adoptive parents. There is a special place in heaven for you!
