I’m grateful for the humidity as it does help with the fire situation.

Oh man, I'm loving this weather simply for perfect beach days. I've said it before, if higher humidity and temps are the price to pay for a warm ocean water temps, then so be it! haha. I will say that installing central air earlier this year has been a lifesaver and makes working from home easy.

Some screenshots worth posting:

As of yesterday

Some crazy temps, dew points and heat indexes last week. 113 in Escondido and 111 in Poway.

Last weekend was one of the few times the dew point in San Diego was higher than Houston, New Orleans and Atlanta.

According the weather service, the humidity will go down by the weekend and temps will be back to normal. Boooo!

Yeah! Can we get some rain as a reward for enduring all this humidity.

Thank god for the rain which has washed all the...

Amazing, the past few days did not have to use the A.C. in the evenings.

As we head into September, I expect a few more steamy Indian summer days ahead, and even into October some scorching days before finally cooling down for good in November. Time sure does fly.

This weekend is supposed to heat up...

Look for "rolling black-outs" coming to a neighborhood near you...

Will the heatwave this weekend live up to the hype? 113 for El Cajon and Escondido is crazy. They're even predicting 99 at the airport.

Death Valley already broke a record this year at 130f.
We had an amazing July and August in San Diego. I'm not going to complain that we're getting the brunt of the heat in September again. Just worried about the fire situation.
