Yes we do. about 1 mile from OB . Loving it. No ac needed just open the windows. 5 Minute drive to OB or Mission Beach just to enjoy the waves.

Sure, I mostly grew up in the foothills/mountains of NorCA, typically rainy with occasional snowstorms in the winter with otherwise mostly sunny, mild weather and hot summers - similar to Denver but also drought prone as is being experienced now. Also experienced many months over the years of the PNW, D.C. area, Midwest and New England.

I love the rain and miss interesting weather and a healthy El Niño year with ~20” of rain down here is sublime perfection for me. Otherwise I’m living with damn good weather in a friendly, village-like urban neighborhood in a SFH on a canyon and walking distance to downtown and uptown. The best slice of a very good city for us and for the most part not replicable in nearly any other city in the country which I would desire to live in, challenging/more interesting weather or not. There are plenty of other great cities that I could live in but could never afford their “best” slice as we’ve landed here in.

Aren't all outlet malls outdoors? And I bet all of those were built in the late 90s/early 00s. Outdoor malls have been around in SD since the 60s.
