The 8-3 record this year is very misleading; they haven't played anybody! They will be exposed in a few weeks vs. Dallas and the week after vs. Cincinnati.

Anyway, sorry about that. I' am very passionate about sports, as you can tell and I felt I had to vent just a little. However, I don't let sports determine my happiness like some others out there do. If my team loses, oh well. Not the end of the world!
I agree about the Chargers, I think of them as the NE Patriots of the AFC West. It's not so much that I don't like the Chargers, I just particularly can't stand Phil Rivers. I liked the 2001-02 Chargers a lot better, back when they had Doug Flutie and Junior Seau. The Chargers might have a shot at the Superbowl this season, they were able to beat the undefeated Broncos. We'll just have to see how they do against the Colts. I was predicting (half-joking) Chargers vs. Saints at the Superbowl. That would be interesting since Drew Brees will be playing against his former team.

comparing SD to cities like that is like comparing dollars to pennies
of course people coming from areas like that are going to think SD is the greatest city compared to where they came from..i think the majority of people that complain about where they are from or live complain because they try to do just that, compare it to something else...every city is what it is...though in my opinion every city should be modeled after Chicago...
In my opinion, every city should be modeled after Tokyo or other Japanese cities, especially with their urban planning and mass transit system.

Is there really anything wrong about being happy where you are? Along the lines of "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with."

If you don't like it, either go somewhere else or accept things and see the good in what you have.

Even the most favorite places I've ever lived have gotten old on me - so I moved on. It's better than wishing I was someplace else.
