Cause of the high crime rate and the relatively small size of the city population wise. It's smaller than Fresno.

Doc, why is you presenting articles as evidence that are just "lip service?"

For the 911 stat. I too found it surprising that Oakland leads the nation in 911 calls.

The other stuff that you focused on seems like lip service to me.

Doc, I didn't find it surprising. So I focused in on other interesting stuff.

Thought maybe Bratton might have something to say about that Geo stuff.

Really? Oakland being #1 in the nation for 911 calls? That's quite a feat IMO.

Truly. Not really discussion worthy really. People call 911 when they need help. What's surprising about that?

That in Oakland, people call for help MORE than any other city in the country.

You are the one that points out their high crime rate afterall. Don't ya think people suffering those crimes would be calling 911?

True, but #1 in the country is always a surprise to me. It's a big country.

Hey, don't this report kinda bust that theory out there that Oakland people don't like the cops and don't report crimes? They seem to be reporting crimes in great numbers. Need help, call 911. That's a good message, yes indeedy.
