Interesting theory. But it's kind of hard to dislike the police when someone is ransacking your house.

Someone not named Senno posted it before. Seems refuted to me.

I think they call 911 and report the crimes but the problem is the no snitch culture. Can't arrest the thugs without the public's help.

Anecdotal.

The 4th highest crime city or so reporting the number one amount of crimes seems to indicate they are reporting crimes above their weight class.

That's really splitting hairs.

A city like Oakland that's ranked #3 or #4 in overall crime in the U.S being #1 for 911 calls is not exactly a huge discrepancy. Maybe if they were #25 in crime and #1 for calls, I'd agree there's a weird discrepancy, but as it is the crime stats seem to coincide with the 911 call stats.

Doc, then why were you surprised they were number 1? I said I wasn't surprised. You are. Will you decide if you are surprised or if it's splitting hairs please?

I don't think it's a weird discrepancy at all. I think they are doing a good job reporting crimes.

How many backflips do you have to do to post like you do is what I really wanna know. Try to have some consistency maybe, sometimes, just once. It might work for ya a bit. You might like it some.

Senno, it's the internet, it's a limitation of the medium.

Use your words, Doc. I'm pretty sure they are in there somewhere. You are a sharp wordsmith when ya wanna be.

You see Senno, we Oaklanders actually call 911 for soup recipes and marital advice.

That sounds like a teacher telling a elementary or preschool student to express himself rather than throw a tantrum
