Dont worry, I'll be blasting through the door and ripping it off its hinges on my way out!

I don't know if you should bust the door down; we don't want Seattle's weather spreading to other places.

But then again, it will make it easier for me to leave.

detractors? Does that mean - us people that are moving out?

I live in the Greenlake area (close to Maple Leaf/Ravenna) - Very Seattle

Leaving for me has nothing to do with my area - it has everything to do with the weather

I lived in several places around the country and Seattle was by far the lamest experience of my life. I'll never go back...

I feel the same way about Texas, all that says is that we are all different...and no one place is perfect for everybody.

Seattle has it's probs and if you come here from nyc, L.A. or miami beach, it will seem lame as hell especially nowadays. But a lot of that happened when mayor greg dickhole got elected, the WTO and the mardi gras race riots in 2001. After that he ass raped the old school night scene. Back then man downtown stores used to stay open until like 4 close for 2 hours then open right back up. I went up to van city a few months ago kicked it the whole weekend on that street with all those clubs it was so lively, reminded me of the good old days when fremont, wallingford, downtown & queen anne andthe U district were places where you could easily party a lot harder than they'll allow now.

Hey toughguy, Texas is awesome! If we hadn't been so chickensh** about the severe weather and scorpions, we would have stayed longer. But we were too much the Pacific Northwestern milquetoast to handle it, so we came back
