I'm really bummed that I was unable to find a job in NYC and had to return to Seattle. I felt so alive and energized by the environment in NYC, and now I feel like Seattle is sucking the life out of me. Why does everyone here have to be so damn depressing and morose? My friends are recluses, no one here knows how to smile or interact with eachother, and the only time you see any life in this city is on a weekend night at the bars, when everyone is drunk... Damn alcoholics!

Can't wait for tour season to start. I really hate this place. I can't believe so many people like it.

of all the places you could have returned to, you came back to Seattle. Why?

Well while you were gone it was crazy here. Everyone was partying, the streets were alive 24/7, it was great. I wondered why it stopped.

I have to say that I have the exact opposite feeling. I think the people are friendly and welcoming. One of the friendliest places around. Now with that being said we all have different experiences. Sometimes what we reflect is what we receive back. Cheer up!

Yes, 206, I just can't fathom why your friends are depressing and morose when you, on the other hand, are such a RAY OF SUNSHINE AND POSITIVE ENERGY!
Go figure...

NYC is a cesspool, with rude people, overcrowding, rotten weather, and no natural scenery. Seattle is so much better in almost every way- if you are unhappy here that is your own preference, but not due to anything here that is lacking compared to NYC. There are people unhappy in any place in the world for any number of personal reasons, the simple answer is to leave!
