They're going to Plano and Frisco... the Northern Burbs.

Neither of the anchor cities (and Arlington) aren't getting the regular HEBs yet.

It did feel a bit weird that Texas' largest metro didn't have locations for such a huge Texas commercial institution.

I'm glad that's finally being rectified.

I still think the number of Central Markets in DFW will always outnumber the HEB's they build. They are adding two more central markets to the 7 we already have...And the one being built on Lemmon and Mckinney is gonna be a game-changer.

H-E-B has something like 80 stores in Houston, and they're still spreading like wildfire.

So I highly doubt a similar thing won't happen in DFW, even with it having more Central Market stores.

I agree, but I also wonder if HEB will add their “HEB Fresh”, which is an organic centric store and a good notch above their regular stores in DFW. Or if they won’t since they already have 7 central Markets

We have to wait until 2028 until its completed if it starts construction in 2022
