I think Danker confronting the doctor was totally unrealistic. It's one thing when a young person like Daisy does it. But if Danker has been in service her whole life, she would have to know better.

Yes, she was really forceful towards him, like a rabid dog. I think even in todays world you wouldn't see a servant do that unless they just assumed they would lose their position.
I think mrs. Hughes should have just stayed "bf & gf" with Carsen.
Tom sure has changed. I wouldn't have imagined him having a civil conversation with a conservative minister without pouring a pot of slop on his head a few years back.

Folks can't we just go with the flow, it is actually just TV.
Well we are "going with the flow" and it seems to be flowing the wrong way.
I think Mr and Mrs Carson are not happy together and are regretting the marriage. She can't cook and he is obsessive.
And the plot should have included a real scare for everyone at DA when Lord G vomited half his blood supply at the dinner table. OMG. So much blood from one little ulcer?? They were all so calm and reserved. There should have been screaming and chaos and then real fear that Robert would die. There was none of that. He could have lingered in hospital while everyone prayed for him. Instead, he is back home in bed next week. Sorta rushing it ???
I still think Marigold looks like a scared little waif. She does not seem to be bright enough to be born from 2 very educated aristocratic parents. She probably will never talk on the show and should not have been cast there in the first place. All is JMHO !!

It is just TV, but it's also nice when writers create characters that are identifiable and internally consistent and not just pawns who act any which way to service the plot.

I don't think they're regretting the marriage. Just having difficulty transitioning into married life. At their age, it's difficult for anyone to suddenly change their living circumstances and start sharing a space with someone.

It does seem as through every arising crisis is solved almost before it has had a chance to manifest itself. Anna's medical difficulties went bim bam boom...baby. Daisy's kamikaze mission to lecture Cora was headed off at the pass. The only thing being dragged out this season has been the hospital battle, and that has been dull since the issues and reasons were clear from the start and they have just been repeating them as we go along.
It isn't that the show has become bad or uninteresting, it is that it suffers a bit when compared to past seasons and the main problem is the high velocity plot placing as they try to wrap everything up for the viewers.

His evolution is one of my favorite parts of the show. He seems much more confident and comfortable with himself. My husband predicted at the beginning of this season that he and Mary would fall in love. At first, I thought he was crazy, but he does seem have become a match for her.
yes I must say I would have been frantic at Roberts blood all over the place and the dr telling me his ulcer has burst . Can ulcers really burst like that anyways ? don't know never knew anyone that had one sorry . yes I think mary is figuring out where lil marigold figures in here at da .I do think mary does not like the race car driver as much as he likes her and yes she would be marrying down as she put it and I don't think that would do at all . I do like ediths new man he seems to be closely matched to her and she does seem to have come out of her shell as they say .I think carson and mrs carson are just needing to get used to each other in a married way and will be alright .
