Lots of stupid decisions too, though, unfortunately pretty much what I've come to expect from Det. Linden. People around her sure do get hurt a lot.
Can't say I was surprised to see CPS at her door.
Oh, well.

Anyway, came across this and had to share.

The first one is an absolute stunner.

Hey, cool, Tiger Lily. I knew I liked him for a reason.

I'm glad Linden finally sent the boy to live with his father. It would have been easier on him if she had done it sooner instead of waiting until he was going to be put in foster care. That poor kid spent most of his time alone in a hotel room, not being allowed to leave, for entire day and night stretches. It's like he lived alone.

Since Rosie was working as a housekeeper and an occassional waitress, Aunt Terry definitely knows something since she is helping the Indians spin the story that Rosie was an escort!

I don't know what to think now. I guess I stand by my original choice as the Senator as the person who killed Rosie. Was that supposed to be her real father? I wonder why he hadn't heard anything on the news about Rosie.

Yeah, I found it extremely implausible that he would not have any idea what was going on in the media especially with the whole Richmond angle, the assassination attempt, etc. He may not live in Seattle but those kinds of things are going to be headlines across the state, if not the country. And if he lived 4 hours away that means Rosie would have been gone for an entire day, even if she drove straight to his place, turned around and went home. Nobody noticed that she was gone that long? How did she find him that easily? I can't imagine there's only one David Rainer in Washington state & that he hasn't moved since whenever Mitch wrote that letter.

I wish I could just watch this show without thinking too much about how ridiculous it all is. It's a show that wants to be "deep" but fails miserably.

I feel exactly the same way.

It was pretty clear that David doesn't live in a cave. That he wouldn't have heard that Rosie was killed was beyond unbelievable.
And, it just slid downhill fast from there.

It really is like a car crash, just cannot look away no matter how bad.

I always look forward to it but it doesn't seem to ever get anywhere.

Didn't watch yesterday's episode. Have finally given it up. So---I'm depending on y'all to fill me in!

I had read that Rosie's murder would be solved early in the season and they'd move on to another case. Doesn't seem like that's happening...
