There may not be a season 3. I heard the ratings were so low on Sunday that they didn't make it into the top 100 of cable shows.
This is BAD.
I have a new theory concerning the murderer.
I am starting to wonder if it was Richmond all along. He supposedly got cleared because at the time he was trying to commit suicide? Is this correct? But anyway, if that is the reason I would like to know why he would try to kill himself when he was getting ready to win the election unless he was doing it because he had just killed Rosie.

Now THAT's a good theory, Maggie! Would really be something if it was him, all along.
I just hope the ending is shocking and good. I really want a season 3. So many people out there knocking season 1 final and convincing others not to watch.

The problem with this type of show is viewers need to watch it from the first episode of the first season. It's unlikely anyone will watch if it they haven't watched it from the start. I wouldn't be watching it now if I hadn't caught the entire first season OnDemand right before this season started.
Other less interesting shows get renewed year after year. They aren't even interesting enough for people to create threads about on the internet. I'm thinking along the lines of Royal Pains and Covert Affairs. Although there are background stories, background knowledge isn't required to enjoy a random episode. They are just light hearted easy shows to watch.
I hope eventually every episode for every season is available 24/7/365 for all shows so people can easily start watching. After all these years, I finally started watching Army Wives. I caught up on all eposides via OnDemand for the first 4 seasons and netflix for season 5, but I can't catch up on the first half of the current season. It's driving me crazy! And this isn't even a show that requires too much background information but I'd prefer to watch the eposides in sequence.
It's frustrating to try to catch up on shows. The more detailed and complicated the storyline, the more frustrating it is. That's why shows like The Killing get cancelled. I was heartbroken when Rubicon was cancelled after the first season. Now that was a show that made you THINK----while watching it! I guess it required too much brain power for the average viewer.
My professional background is mental health and that is NOT how people on suicide watch are treated.
My step brother got put on suicide watch in a hospital a few years back and he was treated like a criminal and we had a hell of a time getting him out.

It was her ex-fiance and I think he understood that she wasnt suicidal at all. Plus, Holder had explained the situation to him.
Why would there be a season 3 if we find out who killed Rosie?
