That fits with what I remember, that she did cooperate with him for a while after she read the box and when Emily pointed the gun at Tyler (after delivering the check) she came behind Emily with a gun and the two of them drove off. She apparently had second thoughts later and that is when she tried to leave but was shot by Tyler. I must say if the baby is fake Amanda and Tyler's he/she has some scary genetic material!
